City of Coppell Holiday Scavenger Hunt

November 30, 2021 - January 7, 2022

There are five holiday ambassadors hidden around town. Can you find all of them and win a prize? Simply solve the clues posted on the City’s Facebook, Twitter or Instagram pages (one per day November 30 – December 4), snap a photo with each ambassador, upload photos to social media with the hashtag #coppellholidays, then stop by Town Center to claim your prize while supplies last! Animal Services Supply Drive

December 1 -  31  |  Cozby Library and Community Commons

Help support the animals at Coppell Animal Services and their future adopters by donating supplies this holiday season! Check out the ornaments on the tree in the library lobby for most needed items. Donations can be dropped off at the library through December 31.

Fa La La La Lights

December 3-31

Coppell homes and businesses are invited to celebrate the holiday season by decorating their home, yard, or storefront for the City of Coppell’s second annual holiday lights competition. Register by noon Friday, December 3 to be added to the map. Starting December 3, a virtual map with the locations of all registered participants. Citizens are encouraged to visit each location and vote on their favorite via Coppell Parks & Recreation Facebook page. Winners will be posted December 20. Assistance League of Coppell – Holiday Home Tour

December 3 – 4   |   Multiple Locations

Coppell Holiday Home Tour is a charity fundraising event sponsored by the Assistance League of Coppell. It is the perfect way to celebrate the upcoming season as you walk through four beautiful homes, each with a unique design, décor, and story to tell.

  • Friday, December 3: 10 am – 2 pm. with Candlelight Tour from 7– 9 pm.
  • Saturday, December 4: 10 am – 1 pm

 Tickets are $25 and available online.

 

Coppell Farmers Market

The Coppell Farmers Market is the best unique, small market in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Vendors feature grass-fed meats and poultry, organic eggs, artisan breads, honey, and other specialty products. Come out to the Farmers Market to find local healthy food, develop a relationship with those providing your food, meet up with friends and neighbors, and be a part of the local movement. 2nd Annual – Candle Lighting Day of Remembrance

December 4  |   Noon   |   Online - Facebook

The act of lighting a candle in honor of those who have passed is a centuries old tradition that allows you to express what cannot communicated with words. By lighting a candle for a loved one, individuals remember the love and honor their life. Grief Bridge Partners with Generate Life Church bring this event. Generate Life Church understands it has been another tough year and whether you have lost a loved one on earth to COVID or any circumstance and any age they would be honored to remember your loved one with you in a FREE Facebook Live candle lighting ceremony. Last year they said over 100 loved ones names from all over the world as they lit a candle for them.

 

HarpEssence Holiday Concert

Storytime at the BEC

Join the staff of the BEC for EcoExplorer Storytime! Our book theme will be based upon the current EcoExplorer theme. Check the BEC’s Facebook page for weekly themes. Gather at the Nature Explore play area at 10 am and feel free to bring a blanket for sitting.

There will be vintage shopping at Historic Park during Vintage Christmas in Old Town Coppell. Come to historic Heritage Park and the vintage Minyard Store for a tour, gift shopping, hot chocolate, and a visit with Santa! Sponsored by the Coppell Historical Society.

Each meeting includes the discussion of current and planned activities, as well as frequent guest speakers who discuss issues in and around Coppell, North Texas and Texas as a whole. Meetings are open to anyone that would like to attend. You can contact the club and arrange for a member to sponsor you into the meeting.
