TeenTober Celebration

TeenTober logo

This October, the Cozby Library and Community Commons is participating in the Young Adult Library Services Association's (YALSA) annual TeenTober celebration. Developed by YALSA, this month-long event strives to raise awareness of the importance of year-round teen services and connect teens with services and materials that will help them develop new skills and fuel their passions.

Here are some things to look forward to in the month of October:

  • Teen LitBox: October's theme is Spooky! Registration is required.
  • Take and Make craft kits available throughout the month. Follow us on social media to find out more details.
  • TeenTober Celebration: Wednesday, October 27 at 6 PM. Join us to celebrate you with an evening of interaction with peers and staff members. We'll have guided discussions that will help the staff learn how to serve you best. To join us for pizza, please arrive at 6 PM. The discussion portion of the program will begin at 6:30 PM. Attendees will earn 1 hour of community service for their participation.
  • Learn about specific services and materials just for teens!
