The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning in effect from late in the night on Saturday, February 13 through the afternoon of Monday, February 15. Dangerously cold temperatures are expected. Residents should expect more wintry weather, with potential impacts to travel and other daily activities. Take precautions to secure pipes and anything susceptible to the extreme cold. Have plenty of food on hand and ways to stay warm in case of power outages. According to Oncor, there are two major issues affecting many customers right now: winter storm outages and controlled power outages directed by ERCOT. Oncor is responding to the outages caused by the record-breaking winter storm that continue to impact our area. Unfortunately, estimated restoration times are not yet known. Read more
