[ARCHIVED] Shop Small and Win Big in Coppell on Small Business Saturday

Small business Saturday win a $200 gift card

Once the turkey is done, let the holiday shopping begin! Join the City of Coppell for Small Business Saturday on November 25 — the Saturday after Thanksgiving — to support local businesses and be entered to win a prize worth $200!

With more than 700 retail storefronts, restaurants, and service businesses, there’s no shortage of places to find the perfect gift for everybody on your list, including yourself, right here in Coppell. Small Business Saturday is a great reminder for residents and visitors to think local when they shop to not only support the individual businesses, but the entire community as well.

“Every sale at a local business makes an impact, whether it’s $5 or $500,” said Mindi Hurley, Director of Community Development. “Shopping locally allows businesses and the economy to continue thriving, and a portion of the sales tax collected is invested back into City programs and amenities for everybody to enjoy.”

Those who make the commitment to shop locally on Small Business Saturday will be rewarded with a chance to win a $200 gift card to a Coppell business. Simply submit your receipts from three or more Coppell businesses from Saturday, November 25, 2023, in person at the Town Center Annex, 265 E. Parkway Blvd., or by email at, to be entered into the drawing. Receipts from any storefront in Coppell will be accepted, and there is no minimum purchase amount required to enter or win.
