Construction operations for the DART Silver Line are ongoing, and MacArthur Boulevard will be fully closed from 6 am on Friday, September 15 to 3 pm on Monday, September 18 to allow DART crews to perform work at the railroad crossing. Both north- and southbound traffic will be detoured around the construction zone, and motorists should utilize Mockingbird Lane, Riverchase Drive, and Fairway Drive.
In order to expedite completion of the construction activity, DART's contractor, Archer Western Herzog, will conduct work 24/7 during this time. While there will not be overnight jackhammering or saw cutting, residents in the area should expect to hear noise from equipment and from the generators required for safety lighting.
Increased traffic is expected at this intersection during the full road closure. Please avoid the area and utilize an alternate route.
