It’s a festival of color, culture, and music! Kaleidoscope: A Celebration of Art and Cultures is returning to Andrew Brown Park East on Saturday, October 8 from 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM. Kaleidoscope highlights the diversity and unique aspects of the Coppell community through a display of art, culture, music, and more. This year’s daytime event will feature a variety of activities, performances, and artisan vendors to appeal to everyone! For tastes around the world, a diverse array of lunch options will be available for purchase from food vendors.
Chalk Art Contest
As a part of this year's celebration, eventgoers are encouraged to participate in a chalk art contest, themed "A Kaleidoscope of Colors". The contest will take place during the event from 11am - 2pm. There will be four different categories available to register for, however, participants may only compete in one category. These categories include: Ages 5-10, Ages 11-17, Ages 18+, and Families. Judging will begin at 2:15pm, and the winners from each category will be announced at the end of Kaleidoscope. Chalk will be provided by the city of Coppell. A minimum of 10 participants are required for the competition to take place, and registration must be completed by 5pm on Wednesday, October 5. Are you interested in becoming a food vendor for this year's Kaleidoscope event? Please review the Vendor Information and Guidelines, and complete the Kaleidoscope 2022 Vendor Application. Applications must be submitted by 5pm on Thursday, September 15 in order to be considered.
In the spirit of supporting the Coppell community, local vendors and organizations will be a part of this year's marketplace. Arts and culture-focused organizations and groups will provide informational materials and live demonstrations. Vendors will also be on-site to sell goods or services.
