Celebrate Earthfest at the Biodiversity Education Center! Earthfest is a celebration of Coppell's commitment to the environment - an entertaining and educational experience! Visit environmental education booths to learn how you can lead a more sustainable lifestyle and explore Coppell Nature Park.

Enjoy a variety of crafts and interactive demonstrations at various vendor booths. Visit and learn more about CISD school sustainability initiatives, Operation Serve DFW, Project Querencia, Recycle 2 Support, Keep Coppell Beautiful, North Texas Master Naturalists, Coppell Girl Scouts, as well as City of Coppell facilities and departments. 

Participate in a ladybug release at the Biodiversity Education Center's Pollinator Garden, and pick up a plant or two at the Coppell Community Garden's plant sale. Local Girl Scout Troop #7926 will perform sustainability themed skits at 11:30am and 12:30pm at the Nature Explore Playground stage. 

Document shredding will be offered at the Coppell Service Center from 8:00am - 12:00pm. 

Biodiversity Education Center staff will also be taking Earthfest out onto the trails! Event attendees can discover more about the three habitats located within Coppell Nature Park by visiting learning stations along the trails (PDF).

Parking Information

Parking will be available at Wagon Wheel Park, located at 345 Freeport Parkway. The Biodiversity Education Center is located in the northwest corner of the parking lot.

Wagon Wheel Park is located on Freeport Parkway, south of Sandy Lake Road and north of Bethel Road.
