About the Program

The Work Hard, Get a Lyft program is a partnership between the City of Coppell, Denton Country Transportation Authority, and Lyft, created to provide first- and last-mile transportation to employees who work in businesses located within the city limits of Coppell. Employees at participating businesses can request heavily discounted Lyft rides from several public transit stops directly to the workplace and back, providing an easy solution for the extra few miles of commuting.

Employees

If you work at a participating business and would like to utilize the program, you must have the following to participate:

  • Credit Card
  • The Lyft AppLyft App Page
  • Smart phone
  • The unique promo code provided by the City of Coppell to your employer

Transit Stops

Travel must originate or conclude in the two workforce zones shown on the map, or one of the five transit stops listed:

  • Belt Line Station (DART)
  • Bus Stop at Regent Boulevard and Royal Lane
  • Bus Stop at Saintsbury Street and Belt Line Road
  • Hebron Station (DCTA)
  • Trinity Mills Station (DART)
  • Trinity Metro TEXRailWorkforce Zone Map

Cost

Rides to and from designated Workforce Zones and Transit Stops range from $12 to $15. The rider pays the first $2 and the City of Coppell will pay up to the next $15. Anything over $17 will be covered by the rider. Any incidental damage caused by the passenger will be charged to the passenger's card

Ride Details

Riders may only select a Lyft Standard vehicle for transportation in this program. Shared rides are encouraged with a maximum of four passengers per vehicle. There is also a ride cap of 62 rides per individual per month.

Hours & Availability

The program is available to use 7 days a week, excluding major holidays from 4 am to Midnight.
