S. Belt Line reconstruction crews continue to perform traffic signal work, but have started to install necessary storm drains. The quick removal of concrete and fair weather has allowed crews to work in tandem with one another as they continue reconstruction.

As with previous weeks, crews continue to remove concrete and perform traffic signal work on S. Belt Line.

Phase three of S. Belt Line reconstruction continues with crews removing concrete and performing traffic signal work.
Friday, September 1
Phase three of S. Belt Line reconstruction is underway, beginning with the closure of the northbound lanes between Dividend Dr. and I-635. Concrete removal has already commenced, and during this phase, all traffic in this area will be rerouted to the southbound lanes. Normal traffic flow will resume at Dividend Drive.

Median landscaping and traffic signal work continue this week and next. The next phase of the project is also set to begin Monday, August 28. The northbound lanes of S. Belt Line Rd. will be closed from I-635 to Dividend Dr., and traffic will be diverted to the southbound lanes.

Crews are getting traffic lights up and working properly as well as beautifying medians this week and next.
