Current West Nile Virus Activity

The City of Coppell's mosquito control program is underway. Six traps are set weekly. Any mosquitoes caught are tested for West Nile Virus. 

Current West Nile Virus Activity

July 18, 2014.  Dallas County Health and Human Services reports first 2 human cases of West Nile virus in zip codes 75019 and 75230. Spraying in zip code 75019 will take place between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. on Friday, July 18, and again between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m., Saturday, July 19, 2014.  View the map.

May 27, 2014.  Positive mosquito sample in the MacArthur Park area. Spraying will take place (weather permitting) between 9:00 pm and 5:00 am on Wednesday May 28, and Thursday May 29, 2014.
