    UPDATED AUG 27, 2014  -  The City of Coppell has entered into an agreement with Republic Services to provide trash, bulk waste, recycling, yard trimmings recycling, and household hazardous waste collection for residential customers, recycling service for multi-family households, and trash service for commercial accounts.  Please view this page often.   • Boards and Commission Applications Available

    The City of Coppell is seeking volunteers to serve on a number of City Boards, Commissions and Committees.  Applications are available and will be accepted from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, August 1, 2014 through September 12, 2014 in the City Secretary’s Department at Town Center, 255 E. Parkway Boulevard.

  • Road Construction to Close Intersections Along W. Sandy Lake

    The contractor working on the Sandy Lake Road project is preparing to pave the south side of the road between Denton Tap and South Coppell Road.  To facilitate this work some intersections will be closed while they are reconstructed.

  • THE 2013 WATER QUALITY REPORT IS READY!

    In 2013, Dallas Water Utilities and City of Coppell detected 23 contaminants in the drinking water and none of them were above the EPA accepted level for drinking water.

  • City Offices Closed for Labor Day - September 1

    All City of Coppell administrative offices, Coppell Municipal Court, the Coppell Animal Services facility, Grapevine Springs Senior and Community Center and the William T. Cozby Public Library will close on Mon., Sept., 1, in observance of Labor Day.  
  • Beat the Heat, Check the Back Seat!

    As temperatures continue to rise this summer, The Coppell Fire Department is reminding everyone with children to “Beat the Heat, Check the Backseat.” According to Coppell Fire Chief Kevin Richardson, “One of the biggest weather related risks during the summer months is the possibility of a child dying in a vehicle from heat stroke.”
