• Change is Good! Important Changes Coming Up


    UPDATED OCT 23 2014  -  The current agreement with Waste Management will expire on October 31, 2014.  Your Waste Management recycle cart will be collected on your next recycling and yard trimmings service day.  Please follow the instuctions closely for pick up of your old cart, delivery of your new cart and information concerning your new service and new collection days.   

  • Freeport Parkway Closure Sun Oct 26

    Freeport Parkway will be closed to through traffic from the north entrance of Wagon Wheel Park to W. Sandy Lake Rd. on Sunday October 26, 2014 from 9 AM to 4 PM. The road will be closed to place bridge beams onto the new bridge.

    Please join the William T. Cozby Public Library on Saturday, October 25th at 2:00 PM as we hear from Susannah Charleson, author of Scent of the Missing and The Possibility Dogs. For adults 18 and up.

  • Living Well in Coppell Free Wellness Events Available Daily through October

    October is the kickoff month for Living Well in Coppell!  You are invited and encouraged to participate in a month full of fun, educational and active daily events throughout the entire month of October.

  • Coppell Fire Department Reminds Citizens To Change Your Battery

    As most Americans set their clocks back one hour, the Coppell Fire Department wants homeowners to “change your clocks and change your batteries” on Sunday, November 2. “Fresh batteries in smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors can help provide the extra seconds needed to save a life,” Coppell Fire Chief Kevin Richardson states.
  • Municipal Courts Week Open House November 5, 2014

    Join the Coppell Municipal Court in celebrating Municipal Courts Week. The public is invited to attend an open house from 1 to 6 PM on November 5, 2014, in the Justice Center, 130 Town Center Blvd.

    Help animals in need by providing items for the William T. Cozby Public Library’s pet food and supply drive. Visit the Coppell Reads website for a list of items needed at nearby shelters.
