How do I properly dispose of household hazardous waste?

The City of Coppell provides information to residents regarding proper disposal of Household Hazardous Waste.  Residential disposal options include local businesses that accept automotive waste; sharing leftover materials with neighbors or relatives and drying paint for landfill disposal.  HHW items such as pool chemicals, pesticides, and common household cleansers should be used up or shared with neighbors whenever possible.

Another disposal method is a collection center.  However, these can be costly.  The City of Coppell can provide residents with a voucher to an environmental collection center by calling the Environmental Health Department at 972-462-5177.  Click here for more info.
