Non-resident fee cards will be issued to residents of communities in Collin, Dallas, Denton, or Tarrant counties. If a non-resident seeking a William T. Cozby Public Library card has a question regarding the funding of his or her local library, he or she should contact that library or his or her local elected officials.
Non-residents may purchase a William T. Cozby Public Library card for an annual, non-refundable fee of $40, which is valid for one year from the date of purchase. Non-residents will not be offered interlibrary loans or use of the Library Program Room.
A current photo ID and verification of current street address must be presented in person at the Library Accounts desk along with payment of the $40 fee (via cash or check).
Non-resident children or adults, who attend or are employed by CISD schools, are homeschooled, or attend Coppell private/charter schools are eligible for a free, limited use library card. CISD card holders may check out up to 5 items, which does not include DVDs/BluRays. They will not be offered interlibrary loans or use of the Library Program Room. Proof of residency and school enrollment or employment status are required to obtain a CISD library card.
Non-residents may use their TexShare Card at the Library to check out one item at a time. Cards are issued by participating libraries within cities of residence. Click here for more information on the TexShare Card program.
