Splish Splash Storytime at the CORE
The CORE and the William T. Cozby Public Library are partnering this summer to offer Splish Splash Storytime on Fridays, in conjunction with Tot Swim. A Special Storytime will be held at the outdoor pool on Fridays at 11AM from June 12 - August 14.

The CORE Participating in the World's Largest Swim Lesson June 18
On Thursday, June 18th, 2015, tens of thousands of kids and adults at aquatic facilities around the world will unite for the sixth year in a row to set a new Guinness World Record.™ The CORE (formerly the Coppell Aquatic and Recreation Center), is a participating facility in the global record attempt for The World’s Largest Swimming Lesson™ (WLSL), which will take place at 10 a.m.

Trail Stabilization and Pedestrian Bridge
Project to Begin in March
In February 2015, the Coppell City Council awarded a construction contract for Andy Brown East Erosion/Trail Stabilization and Levee Pedestrian Bridge project, to Core Construction. The project consists of the installation of sea walls and trail stabilization around the lake edge for the lake located on the East side of Moore Road Park. Read more...
Public Workshop on Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan
The City of Coppell is seeking input regarding the Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan. A public workshop was held Wed., Feb. 11 at Town Center where about 90 people showed and provided valuable input. For those who missed the meeting, another opportunity to provide input is available via an online survey.
