Mission
Employees of the Coppell Police Department and the Animal Services Division are committed to delivering our citizens the most professional and timely service concerning the care and/or treatment of domesticated animals and wildlife located within our City.
The City of Coppell Animal Services and Adoption Center is the base of operations for the City of Coppell Animal Services Department for:
- Animal adoptions,
- Accepting and picking up stray animals,
- Assisting Coppell residents in locating homes for their unwanted pets,
- Issuing city pet registration/license,
- Bite reports and rabies quarantine,
- Lost and found pet records,
- Conducting cruelty investigations,
- Enforcing and investigating complaints of violations of animal related City Ordinances,
- Assisting residents with wildlife related situations, and
- Conducting responsible pet ownership educational programs
