• Memorial Holiday Closings / What's Open, What's Not

    All City administrative offices, the William T. Cozby Public Library, Coppell Municipal Court, Parks administrative offices, Coppell Senior and Community Center at Grapevine Springs, and the Animal Services Facility will be closed on Monday, May 25 in observance of Memorial Day.
  • The CORE Open House May 23

    Change is coming to the Coppell Aquatic and Recreation Center!  Beginning Saturday, May 23, the Center will officially change its name to “The CORE”.  For almost 15 years, the Center has been an integral part of the Coppell community, and this change will better reflect how the Center has become the “CORE” of Coppell’s fitness, family, and fun!  

  • Summer Movie in the Plaza Featuring Back to the Future

    Celebrate the end of the school year and kick-off summer with a FREE movie under the stars! Bring a blanket or chairs to the Town Center Plaza for a showing of beloved family classic, Back to the Future. Pack a picnic or purchase some mini-burgers from Easy Slider and cool off with a snow cone from Kona Ice.

  • Applications for Spirit of Coppell Parade Now Available

    Applications to participate in the Spirit of Coppell 4th of July Parade are now available! Sign-up your group to participate in the Patriotic Parade on Saturday morning. More information, and applications can be found on the July 4th Activities page.


  • Memorial Day Event at Rolling Oaks Memorial Center

    The public is invited to join Rolling Oaks Memorial Center at a community picnic to honor and remember loved ones on Tuesday, May 19 at 6PM. The Coppell Fire Department will grill complimentary burgers and hot dogs, attendees are only asked to bring a blanket or chairs. 

  • Coppell Farmers Market Open Saturdays 8AM-Noon

    With beautiful Spring sunshine upon us, now is the perfect time to visit the Coppell Farmers Market! The Market is open every Saturday from 8AM - Noon at 768 W. Main St in Old Town Coppell. Visit the Market to meet local growers and producers and purchase fresh, locally grown fruits and vegetables, as well as meats, cheeses, breads and other artisan items!

    Whispering Hills Drive Construction To Limit Traffic To Southbound Only


    Whispering Hills Drive is to be reconstructed in its entirety from Magnolia to Sandy Lake Road.  McMahon Contracting has been awarded the $2.2-million dollar project paid for by the ¼-cent sales tax collected for street maintenance.  The project consists of new roadway paving, sidewalks & utilities and improved drainage. 

  • Trail Stabilization and Pedestrian Bridge
    Project to Begin in March

    In February 2015, the Coppell City Council awarded a construction contract for Andy Brown East Erosion/Trail Stabilization and Levee Pedestrian Bridge project, to Core Construction. The project consists of the installation of sea walls and trail stabilization around the lake edge for the lake located on the East side of Moore Road Park.
