    All City of Coppell administrative offices, Coppell Municipal Court, Coppell Animal Services, Coppell Senior and Community Center at Grapevine Springs, and the William T. Cozby Public Library will close at noon on Wed., Nov. 26, and all day on Thurs. and Fri., Nov. 27 and 28, in observance of Thanksgiving.

  • Holiday Food Drive Underway

    This holiday season, help feed the hungry!  The City of Coppell is once again hosting a Holiday Food Drive. City buildings will have a drop box handy for generous donors who would like to help.  City staff will deliver the goods to North Texas food pantries. 

    Thanksgiving Holiday Waste Collection Schedule
    Wed., Nov. 26 - GREEN WEDNESDAY - Regular recycling and yard trimmings collection will occur.
    Thurs., Nov. 27 - Trucks will not run. Trash and bulk waste items will not be collected on Thurs Nov 27, instead, trash and bulk item pick up will occur on Fri., Nov. 28
    Fri., Nov. 28 - Please have your garbage and bulk items at your regular collection point by 7 a.m. on Fri., Nov. 28.
  • Time is running out for Kid Country Donor Plaque corrections!

    Kid Country, the Coppell community playground, funded and built by local volunteers, has had temporary donor plaques displayed at the entrance to the playground for some time now.  These temporary plaques will remain until December 31, 2014, after which time the permanent plaques will be cast and installed.

    The annual “Make a Child Smile” program sponsored by the City of Coppell and administered by City employees, is out of ornaments!  Thank you to all of the residents and businesses who are participating in this valuable program.
