  • Additional FEMA Disaster Recovery Centers Will Open for Flood Survivors in Dallas County

    DALLAS, Texas --- While the first FEMA Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) for Dallas County opens in Garland today, homeowners, renters and business owners will soon have access to eight additional DRCs spread across Dallas County.
  • July 3 Concert and Fireworks Return to Andy Brown East, 260 E. Parkway Blvd.

    Updated June 29, 2015  -  City crews are working feverishly to spruce up Andy Brown Park East, 260 E. Parkway Blvd., for the traditional Independence Day concert and fireworks show on Fri., July 3.   Because of the recent flooding, City staff began exploring alternate locations for the concert and show, ultimately choosing Wagon Wheel Park.  
  • City Administrative Offices Closed July 6 In Honor of Independence Day

    All City administrative offices, Coppell Municipal Court, and the Coppell Animal Services facility will close on Mon., July 6, in observance of Independence Day. 
  • Summer Passport to Wellness

    NEW Summer Passport to Wellness! Every CISD elementary student received a passport the last week of school to keep track of their health over the summer. Parents can support kids by helping them make healthy physical, nutritional, and personal/social choices in the summer months ahead. 

  • 2015 Summer Reading Program

    The annual Summer Reading Program at the William T. Cozby Public Library in Coppell starts on Saturday, June 6. Everyone is invited to kick-off summer reading with games, face painting, balloons and more at the library between 2 and 3 PM. This is also the first day for all ages to register and track their reading online, and earn prizes.  
  • Library Renovation

    This fall, the William T. Cozby Public Library will move to a temporary facility when construction begins on the expansion project currently being planned. The library will relocate to 500 Southwestern Boulevard to the former fire administration building near Old Coppell and Coppell Animal Services. Watch for more information about the date of the move in the months to come.
  • Coppell Farmers Market Open Saturdays 8AM-Noon

    With beautiful Spring sunshine upon us, now is the perfect time to visit the Coppell Farmers Market! The Market is open every Saturday from 8AM - Noon at 768 W. Main St in Old Town Coppell. Visit the Market to meet local growers and producers and purchase fresh, locally grown fruits and vegetables, as well as meats, cheeses, breads and other artisan items!

  • Andy Brown East Trail Stabilization and Pedestrian Bridge Project

    In February 2015, the Coppell City Council awarded a construction contract for Andy Brown East Erosion/Trail Stabilization and Levee Pedestrian Bridge project, to Core Construction. The project consists of the installation of sea walls and trail stabilization around the lake edge for the lake located on the East side of Moore Road Park.
