  • Leadership Coppell Now Accepting Applications

    The city of Coppell will offer Leadership Coppell, an innovative program designed to bring together civic-minded individuals in a forum that encourages learning, questioning and planning.  Six, full day sessions are scheduled to begin Feb. 5, 2015.

    The Coppell Farmers Market is pleased to announce that the market will be operating throughout the winter months and, by popular demand, even two times during December for the first time

  • Holiday Food Drive Underway

    This holiday season, help feed the hungry!  The City of Coppell is once again hosting a Holiday Food Drive. City buildings will have a drop box handy for generous donors who would like to help.  City staff will deliver the goods to North Texas food pantries. 

    Christmas Holiday Waste Collection Schedule

    Wed., Dec. 24 - GREEN WEDNESDAY - Regular recycling and yard trimmings collection will occur.  Please place your carts/containers at your regular collection point by 7 a.m. 
    Thurs., Dec. 25 - CHRISTMAS DAY  Trucks will not run. Trash and bulk waste items will not be collected on Thurs. Dec. 25, instead, trash and bulk item pick up will occur on Fri., Dec. 26.
    Fri., Dec. 26 - Please have your garbage and bulk items at your regular collection point by 7 a.m. on Fri., Dec. 26.
    Thurs., Jan. 1, 2015 - NEW YEAR'S DAY  Trucks will not run. Trash and bulk waste items will not be collected on Thurs., Jan. 1, instead, trash and bulk item pick up will occur on Fri., Jan. 2.
  • Time is running out for Kid Country Donor Plaque corrections!

    Kid Country, the Coppell community playground, funded and built by local volunteers, has had temporary donor plaques displayed at the entrance to the playground for some time now.  These temporary plaques will remain until December 31, 2014, after which time the permanent plaques will be cast and installed.
